Zuku TV

The above error will be displayed if your account is disconnected due to payments. If so, renew your subscription and ensure your decoder is on when making payments.
• If the account has been paid for, Confirm that your subscription package has the channel(s) you are trying to watch on http://zuku.co.tz/satellite/satellite-lineup
• If you are still getting the same error, reconnection may have taken place when the decoder was off. Kindly contact customer care on 0699990300
If you have a decoder whose serial number begins with V130 **** and CH1010******

Please carry out an auto search as below

  • Menu  Installation
  • Insert Password (0000)
  • Auto search

After the search the missing channels will appear.

If you have a decoder whose serial number begins with 2N **** and 2P   ******

To Reset Factory Settings

  • Menu
  • Tools
  • Factory Settings {select YES}

Then, to Search for missing channels

  • Menu
  • Installation
  • DVBS Installation
  • TP List.

Press the blue button on the remote. Press okay. Wait till the search is complete. Any missing channel will appear on the list.

Check to confirm the cable from the TV to the Zuku decoder is in place and firmly fixed.

  • Check the input selection from your TV Remote and confirm that the input source is the Zuku decoder.
  • Check to see if the decoder is on standby. If so, turn it on.
  • If you’re still experiencing trouble contact customer care on 0699 990 300

Check to confirm that the cable from the TV to the Zuku decoder is in place and firmly fixed.

  • Check the input selection from your TV Remote and confirm that the input source is Zuku decoder.
  • Check if the decoder is on standby, put it on.
  • If all the above is okay and you still have no picture, call customer care to check subscription status and availability of channel(s) at that time.

The Decoder Serial and smartcard number is located on a sticker beneath the decoder.
➢ Ensure there is power in your premises
➢ Confirm the power cord is correctly plugged into the power socket.
Click on the EPG button and a list of channels will pop up.
• To view the programmes in a channel, click OK once and the channel is highlighted.
• This will highlight the programmes and the info on each programme can be seen by clicking OK again.
• Use the scroll buttons to switch between channels
• Click on the menu button.
• Scroll down with the scroll buttons and select “Channel Management”.
• You will be prompted to insert password. Default password, if you have not changed this, is “0000”.
• A list of Tv channels will be displayed, for radio channels click on the yellow button to change.
• To select a favorite channel click on the red button and a channel should pop up on selection.
• To remove click on the red button and it will disappear.
• Exit once done.
• Now click on the “Fav” button when you want to change channels, all your best channels will be within easy reach.
• Click on the menu button.
• Scroll down with the scroll buttons and select “Channel Management”.
• It shall prompt you to insert password, do this. Default password if you have not changed this is “0000”.
• It will bring up a list of channels. To lock the channel, click once on the blue button and a “padlock” should pop up on selection. To remove, click on the blue button and the “padlock” will disappear.
• Exit once done.
• Press Menu
• Scroll down to Change Password
• Press OK button
• Enter password 0000(default)
• Enter the new password and confirm the same
• Press exit button
• Press okay to save the changes.
